Sybiha: Ukraine’s relations with Gulf countries disturb Moscow
Kyiv, April 7 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Russia is trying to weaken Ukraine’s rapidly strengthening relations with Gulf countries through propaganda.
Foreign Minister Sybiha noted that Moscow is highly disturbed by Ukraine’s rapid strengthening of ties with Gulf countries following Iran-origin air terror.
Sybiha said that Russia is spreading disinformation to undermine Ukraine’s contributions and producing unfounded reports claiming that Ukrainian experts have been harmed or that the country is not fulfilling its obligations.
Sybiha emphasized that such propaganda will not succeed. He stated that partners in Gulf countries are aware of Ukraine’s modern, high-tech, and cost-effective defense solutions. He added that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit has created a solid foundation for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
Sybiha described Russia’s disinformation campaign as evidence that Moscow acknowledges Ukraine’s success and its own failure.
