US President Donald Trump announced that he had offered UFC President Dana White the position of US Press Secretary.

Describing White as "a great figure, a tough fighter and a warrior," Trump said, "I am pleased to announce that the great Dana White has been offered the position of US Press Secretary."

Trump said he wanted White to include Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes and Kayla Harrison on his team. "We need these people to defend us against the crazy left," he said.

Arguing that Dana White would be a press secretary unlike any other, Trump concluded his statement by saying, "Dana, please accept this position."
