Tsahkna: Estonia stands in solidarity with Azerbaijan
Tallinn, March 5 (Hibya)- Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna condemned Iran’s drone attacks targeting civilian infrastructure in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna made a statement regarding the air attacks carried out by Iran against civilian facilities and the airport in Nakhchivan.
Tsahkna drew attention to the devastating effects of the attacks on regional security, stating: “Iran’s drone attacks that damaged the airport in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and injured civilians are a clear violation of international law and the sovereignty of states. Such reckless actions against countries in the region are unacceptable and must be stopped.”
Referring to Estonia’s support, Tsahkna said: “Estonia stands in solidarity with Azerbaijan and supports peace and security in the region.”
