Tsahkna: Lithuania’s courage inspires everyone who believes in democracy
Tallinn, March 11 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated in a message published on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuania’s independence that the courage shown by the Lithuanian people on the path to freedom is a source of inspiration for all nations that believe in democratic values.

Referring to Lithuania’s historic struggle, Tsahkna said: “I congratulate my friend, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys, and all the Lithuanian people on the 36th anniversary of the restoration of independence. Today we honor the brave Lithuanians who regained their nation’s independence and embarked on the path of freedom and self-determination.”
