Tsahkna: Repression in Iran must end immediately
New York, 23 January (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, speaking at a special session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), called for an end to human rights violations in Iran on behalf of the NB8 group.
Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna addressed the UN Human Rights Council’s special session on the human rights situation in Iran. On behalf of the NB8 group—Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden—he urged Iranian authorities to immediately halt all repression and violence against protesters.
