UAE: Two drones launched from Iran intercepted
Abu Dhabi, May 10 (Hibya) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense announced that the country's air defense systems neutralized two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran.
The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that two UAVs launched from Iran had been neutralized. The statement said, “On May 10, 2026, UAE air defenses intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Iran.” It was also stated that since the beginning of the Iranian attacks, a total of 551 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,265 drones had been intercepted.
The statement noted that there were no casualties or injuries in the last 24 hours, while officials emphasized that they remain fully prepared to confront any threat decisively in order to protect the country’s security and stability.
