London, July 4 (Hibya) – UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper described an alleged plot to attack a journalist in the United Kingdom as "appalling" and delivered a message to Iran.
UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper commented on an alleged attack plot said to be linked to an individual acting on behalf of Iran.
Referring to the incident, Cooper said: "It is appalling that someone acting on behalf of Iran would plan and attempt to carry out an attack against a journalist on British soil."
Highlighting the political significance of the decision, Cooper added: "Today's decision sends a clear message to the Iranian regime and those who carry out its orders."
