Zelensky: I ask parliament to support the dismissal of the Prosecutor General
Kyiv, September 14 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for the dismissal of the Prosecutor General and appealed to members of parliament for support.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said there is only one path for the Prosecutor General: dismissal, and that he had told him so.
Commenting on the process, Zelensky said, "There is only one path for this Prosecutor General: dismissal. I told him that. Ukraine has witnessed all the reasons for it. If he considers this political pressure, he is free to call it that."
Addressing parliament, Zelensky concluded his statement by saying, "I ask members of parliament to support the decision on his dismissal without delay."
