Zelensky: Russia chooses to continue the war
Kyiv, June 5 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is choosing war over peace and called on the international community to increase pressure on Moscow.
In his latest statement, Zelensky said that Russia continues to pursue its war policy and has shown no willingness to seek peace.
Zelensky described the responses from the Russian side as “weak,” arguing that they do not indicate any intention to end the war. He added that the international community is also disappointed by this stance.
In his statement, Zelensky stressed the need to increase economic and political pressure on Russia and thanked the countries supporting Ukraine as well as the international community calling for peace.
