Zelensky: Today’s attacks show Russia does not want peace
Kyiv, March 25 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia’s attacks on Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk show that Moscow has no intention of ending the war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a post, commented on Russia’s attacks targeting several cities in western Ukraine.
Zelensky stated that Iranian-made “Shahed” drones used by Russia struck a church in Lviv, while a maternity hospital was damaged in Ivano-Frankivsk.
Emphasizing that the scale of today’s attacks demonstrates that Russia does not genuinely seek to end the war, Zelensky stressed that stronger pressure must be applied on Moscow.
Zelensky also said that the partial easing of sanctions against Russia has increased Moscow’s war capacity, noting that Russia is expected to generate at least $2 billion in revenue from the recent relaxation of sanctions in just the past weeks.
