Agreement signed for Naibabad-Harlachi railway connection
Kabul, July 17 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar made a statement regarding the signing of the Framework Agreement for a Joint Feasibility Study for the Naibabad-Harlachi railway connection within the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (UAP) Railway Corridor.
Minister Dar congratulated the people and governments of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan on the signing of the railway connection agreement under the UAP Corridor.
He also thanked the Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan for their support and commitment to timely signing of the agreement, stating: “We remained in close contact throughout the negotiation process to finalize the details.”
Dar stated that the UAP Railway Corridor, a significant milestone in advancing regional connectivity and economic integration, will link Central Asian countries to Pakistani ports through Afghanistan.
