Baghaei: We are concerned about the escalation of the internal crisis in Sudan
Tehran, August 1 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei expressed concern over the escalation of the internal crisis in Sudan following the announcement of a parallel government in the country.
In a statement regarding developments in Sudan, Baghaei said that the declaration of a parallel government contradicts the principles of national sovereignty and the territorial integrity of the country.
He warned that this move could have devastating consequences for Sudan’s stability and security.
Baghaei emphasized the necessity of respecting Sudan’s territorial integrity and national unity, and stated that ongoing foreign interference in the country’s internal affairs is extremely harmful.
