Sybiha visited the Sikorski family farm in Poland
Warsaw, August 1 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski at the Sikorski family farm to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Sybiha, accompanied by his wife Tetiana, visited the Sikorski family farm in Poland. The visit was held in honor of the vision and legacy of Radek Sikorski and his wife Anne Applebaum.
During their meeting, Sybiha briefed Sikorski on the impact of Russia’s recent attacks, the situation on the frontlines, and the meetings held in Istanbul.
The two sides agreed on the need to increase sanctions against Russia and strengthen coordination.
They also discussed Ukraine’s EU and NATO membership processes, Ukraine-Poland defense cooperation, joint defense production, advanced military technologies such as drones, as well as Poland’s role and the participation of Polish companies in Ukraine’s reconstruction.
Sybiha and Sikorski noted progress in the historical dialogue and agreed to relaunch the work of the Ukraine-Poland Historians’ Forum.
Sybiha thanked Radek Sikorski and Anne Applebaum for their hospitality and emphasized the strength of the friendship between the two countries.
