Belgium welcomes the ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia
Brussels, December 27 (Hibya) – Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation Maxime Prévot said that his country welcomes the ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia.
Minister Prévot stated that Belgium welcomes the ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia.
Noting that after weeks of violence this ceasefire represents a starting point toward security and stability, Prévot said: “We extend our special thanks to the ASEAN rotating presidency.”
Prévot emphasized that respect for the agreement by both sides is essential for achieving lasting peace.
