Washington, April 25 (Hibya) - United States President Joe Biden announced he has pardoned 11 individuals using his clemency power. Biden said they would be mitigating the sentences of 5 individuals.
Biden stated he used clemency power to pardon 11 individuals and mitigate sentences of 5 individuals convicted for non-violent drug crimes.
Joe Biden said, "These individuals are convicted of crimes that do not involve violence. Their pardon shows they have the opportunity to build a brighter future beyond prison walls.".
