Budrys: Ukraine is defending not only its own land but also Europe's freedom
Vilnius, June 9 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, during his visit to Ukraine, highlighted the intensified missile and drone attacks by Russia in recent weeks.
Budrys stated that civilian infrastructure, homes, and hospitals have been targeted, emphasizing that these attacks are deliberate and aimed at breaking Ukraine’s resistance.
While in the capital Kyiv, Budrys said they had to continue traveling by train during the attacks on the cities of Rivne and Dubno. He recalled that a few days ago, many people, including children, were killed or injured in an attack on Kharkiv.
Minister Budrys stressed that Ukraine is defending not only its territory but also the principles of freedom and democracy in Europe.
