UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper emphasized in her statement that the people of Sudan have endured unimaginable suffering for a long time.
She said: “The UK welcomes the United States’ coordination with Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE in their steps to end this brutal conflict and ensure a peaceful, inclusive transition.”
Cooper also stressed that Sudan’s future must be decided by its people.
