Costa: Time is running out to fight climate change, we must act together
Brussels, November 8 (Hibya) – President of the European Union Council Antonio Costa emphasized that the COP30 Climate Conference, held in Belém, Brazil, comes at a critical moment in the fight against climate change.
In a statement on social media, Costa said, “The window of opportunity to act against climate change is closing fast.” He stressed that the European Union’s commitment to climate action remains unwavering, adding, “We must act together for a sustainable and just future.”
Costa also thanked Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva for hosting this important summit.
