Meloni: Wealth tax proposals will never be implemented
Rome, November 8 (Hibya) – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni reacted on social media to the re-emergence of wealth tax (Patrimoniale) proposals by left-wing parties.
Meloni stated: “The left’s wealth tax proposals periodically resurface. However, as long as the right is in power, it is reassuring to know that these proposals will never be implemented.”
Prime Minister Meloni’s statement came after opposition parties called for additional taxation on high-income and wealthy individuals.
