EU Commissioner Lahbib visits Elefsina Air Base
Brussels, July 17 (Hibya) - Hadja Lahbib, the European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, paid a visit to the Elefsina Air Base located in the city of Elefsina, Greece.
Commissioner Lahbib stated that they visited the impressive Elefsina Air Base, which hosts high-level rescue teams and equipment.
She also noted that they met with EMAK Special Disaster Response teams, who are always ready to act swiftly in cases of fire, flood, earthquake, and any type of disaster.
