Grandi: Hunger of people in Gaza must end now
Geneva, July 27 (Hibya) – UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi stated that the hunger of people in Gaza must come to an end.
Grandi emphasized that hunger in the Gaza region must end immediately. In his statement, he also underlined that they stand with UN and NGO workers who are ready to deliver life-saving aid to hundreds of thousands of people at risk of death.
Grandi said, “An immediate ceasefire followed by meaningful peace talks is urgently needed to end this tragedy.”
