Tajani: We will stand with law enforcement against this new wave of NoTav guerrilla
Rome, July 27 (Hibya) – Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani reported that he held a phone conversation with Italy's Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi and Piedmont President Alberto Cirio.
Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani said he had lengthy phone talks with Interior Minister Piantedosi and Piedmont President Cirio. "We will stand with law enforcement against this new wave of NoTav guerrilla," Tajani said, adding:
"If some people think they can intimidate institutions by blocking highways, setting construction sites on fire, and attacking the police, they are gravely mistaken. We are in government to offer citizens a more efficient, modern, and competitive Italy.
Protesting is everyone's right and we are open to civilized dialogue. But determination is essential against those who use violence."
