We must investigate what happened, clarify and understand the circumstances, draw lessons, and ensure justice.”
Emphasizing the importance of safety standards and state oversight in early childhood education institutions, Herzog added: “Oversight of early childhood education institutions is critical to the safety and well-being of our children. All parties must ensure proper implementation, safety, and full accountability so that such a disaster does not recur. I extend my condolences to the families and the bereaved and pray for the recovery of the injured. May the memory of the little children be blessed.”
