Lahbib: 11 patients and 28 companions evacuated from Gaza
Brussels, September 18 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, announced yesterday that 11 patients and 28 companions were evacuated from Gaza.
Commissioner Lahbib stated that thanks to the solidarity of Belgium, Romania, Norway, and Türkiye, as well as the determination of the World Health Organization in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, 11 patients and 28 companions were evacuated from Gaza.
She emphasized that this was the 26th evacuation operation carried out through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, and that so far more than one thousand patients and companions have been treated in the European Union.
