Lahbib: EU sends 75 tons of humanitarian aid to Nepal
Brussels, September 13 (Hibya) - As part of the European Union’s humanitarian assistance to Nepal, a second aid flight carrying 75 tons of shelter materials arrived in the country.
As part of the European Union’s (EU) humanitarian assistance to Nepal, a second aid flight carrying 75 tons of shelter materials arrived in the country.
European Commission member Hadja Lahbib said in a social media post that the EU donated 66 tons of materials from its own stockpiles as part of the aid.
Lahbib said the aid supplies sent also included 500 family tents to prepare for the approaching winter conditions.
