Lahbib: North Sinai plays a critical role in increasing aid to Gaza
Brussels, 28 November (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that she began her day in Egypt’s El Arish, where she was received by North Sinai Governor Lieutenant General Khaled Megawer.
Lahbib emphasized that North Sinai plays a vital role in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza under complex geopolitical conditions.
She added that the meeting discussed ways to increase humanitarian assistance to Gaza and facilitate access, highlighting the importance of regional cooperation.
