President Macron stated that France supports a vision of a sovereign, united, stable, and peaceful Syria that respects all its components and is fully committed to combating terrorism.

Congratulating Syrian President Ahmed Shara and General Mazlum Abdi on signing a comprehensive agreement providing for a lasting ceasefire and the peaceful integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces into the state structure, Macron said France would support the full implementation of the agreement.

Macron said, “France, together with its partners, will continue to support Syria and the Syrian people on the path toward stability, justice, and reconstruction.”
