Ankara, October 30 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz emphasized that Turkey and Germany are close partners within the framework of NATO.
Chancellor Merz underlined that Turkey and Germany are close partners within NATO. Following his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Merz stated that Turkey plays a key role in almost all foreign and security policy issues concerning Germany.
He added that the strategic cooperation between the two countries was discussed, saying: “Today, we are also addressing this strategic partnership. Thank you, Mr. Erdoğan, for your warm welcome.”
