Netanyahu: Israeli Navy Struck Targets in Yemen
Jerusalem, August 17 (Hibya) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated at the beginning of a government meeting that over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Navy targeted parts of Yemen’s energy infrastructure.
Netanyahu also noted that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out operations in the Zeitoun area of the Gaza Strip, during which many militants were neutralized.
In his remarks at the government meeting, Netanyahu announced that the Air Force had targeted senior Hezbollah members and rocket launchers in Lebanon.
Netanyahu emphasized that the operations were conducted in accordance with the existing ceasefire agreement: “Within the framework of this agreement, we respond with live ammunition to any violation or attempt by Hezbollah to arm itself.”
