Orban says Hungary will maintain its peace position
Budapest, 7 December (Hibya) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that the current policies of European leaders are dangerously bringing the continent closer to war, adding that Hungary will maintain its position in favor of peace.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the current policies of European leaders are dangerously moving the continent toward war and that Hungary will continue to uphold its peace-oriented stance.
Orban explained that the road to war progresses through four stages: weakened diplomacy, sanctions and the cutting of trade ties, compulsory military service and a war economy, and finally direct conflict. He stressed that European leaders are now dangerously approaching the third stage — compulsory service and a war economy.
Orban said: “Hungary will stay away from this path and will continue to stand firmly for peace, guided by determination, courage, and perseverance.”
