President Trump evaluated the methods of imposing tariffs on foreign nations, highlighting the significance of the current system for national security.

He stated that foreign countries have taken advantage of the United States for many years, noting that the tariff mechanism under review by the U.S. Supreme Court is “much more direct, less burdensome, and far faster.” Trump said, “These are all necessary components to achieve a strong and decisive national security outcome.”

Trump noted that speed, strength, and decisiveness have always been important factors for lasting and victorious success.

He also added: “Thanks to the powers explicitly granted to the President of the United States, I ended 8 wars in 10 months,” adding that if countries did not believe in these powers, they would state so loudly and clearly.
