Palestine: Our full UN membership is the necessary response to the occupier’s decisions
Ramallah, August 20 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the State of Palestine’s full membership in the United Nations is the international response that must be given to the occupier’s decisions.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the full UN membership of the State of Palestine constitutes the international response to the occupier’s decisions.
The statement added that the occupation, whether through the attempt to completely seize Gaza City under the name “Gideon’s Chariots B” or through the Israeli government’s approval of construction in the “E1” area, represents two faces of the same genocidal, expulsive, and colonial policy.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that these decisions eliminate the possibility of hesitation or incapacity on the part of the international community and place the occupying state before two options: either act now to save our people and the two-state solution, or become complicit in these crimes.”
