Tajani: Israel’s decision to build new settlements is unacceptable
Rome, August 20 (Hibya) – Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that Israel’s decision to establish new settlements in the West Bank is unacceptable.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani stressed that, together with European partners, they have called on the Israeli government to work with the Palestinian National Authority to jointly strengthen stability in the region.
Tajani said that Israel’s decision to build new settlements in the West Bank is unacceptable: “It is contrary to international law and carries the risk of definitively jeopardizing the two-state solution, on which the Italian government continues to work with faith and utmost commitment.”
