Qatar and Singapore discuss regional developments and diplomatic efforts
Doha, September 16 (Hibya) - Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, who is visiting the country.

According to a statement from Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting held in Doha discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them.
The meeting also reviewed the latest developments in the region, diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and promoting regional security and stability, as well as coordination between the two countries.
Al-Thani said Qatar supports all diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring freedom of maritime navigation. He also expressed hope that these efforts would help pave the way for a comprehensive agreement aimed at achieving lasting peace in the region.
