Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the entry of Israeli forces into the Qalandiya Training Centre, affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), in occupied East Jerusalem.

In a statement, the ministry said the action constituted a clear violation of international humanitarian law and a serious challenge to the will of the international community.

The statement argued that Israel's systematic targeting of UNRWA was aimed at ending the agency's activities and preventing millions of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon from accessing essential services.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to take urgent action to protect UNRWA facilities and to take steps in response to Israel's actions.

The statement also said Qatar continued to fully support UNRWA and emphasized its ongoing support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. Qatar reiterated its position in favor of establishing a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
