Saar meets with Czech Prime Minister Babis
Jerusalem, January 19 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar expressed his thanks during a meeting with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis for the Czech government’s continued support for Israel and the Jewish community.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.
Commenting on the meeting, Saar said: “I had an excellent meeting in Prague with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis. Babis is a courageous and outstanding leader in Europe. The Czech Republic is a consistent supporter of Israel, and the new Czech government under his leadership has referred to the development of the special relationship with Israel among its guiding principles.”
Highlighting the role of the Czech government toward Israel and the Jewish community, Saar added: “I thanked the Prime Minister for his long-standing support for Israel and for the Jewish community in the Czech Republic.”
