Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof underlined the importance of continuing Europe’s support efforts for Ukraine and maintaining a coordinated approach in peace negotiations. He discussed the latest developments on the matter with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Schoof stated that the main topic of the discussions was ensuring security guarantees for Ukraine if a possible peace agreement is reached. He also stressed the necessity of Europe’s active involvement in all matters directly concerning its future.

Schoof added that new options are being examined to support Ukraine so that it can continue its defense against Russia and strengthen its position at the negotiating table.
