Schoof: There can be no just and lasting peace without justice
The Hague, December 16 (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof said that an agreement was signed in The Hague with Ukraine and the Council of Europe on the establishment of an International Compensation Commission for Ukraine.
Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof said in a statement, “Today, everything is about justice for Ukraine. Without justice, there can be no just and lasting peace.”
Noting that an agreement was signed in The Hague together with Ukraine and the Council of Europe to establish the International Compensation Commission for Ukraine, Schoof said:
“This commission will deal with compensation for the damage caused by Russia during the war. In Ukraine, homes are bombed every day, businesses are destroyed and infrastructure is damaged. These actions must have consequences.”
