Summer program announced for Burgas' iconic St. Anastasia Island
Burgas, June 29 (Hibya) – The 2026 summer season program of cultural and artistic events on St. Anastasia Island has been announced. Throughout July and August, visitors will enjoy concerts, opera performances, comedy shows, and special music nights featuring some of Bulgaria's best-known artists and music groups.
St. Anastasia Island, located off the coast of Burgas, will host a rich program of cultural and artistic events during the 2026 summer season. According to the schedule announced by the island's management, visitors will enjoy concerts, opera performances, comedy shows, and themed music nights throughout July and August.
The opening event of the program will be a Greek music night on July 3. Throughout July, the island will also host opera performances, symphony concerts, film music performances, and comedy shows.
The July program will also feature prominent figures and institutions from Bulgaria's cultural scene, offering visitors a unique cultural experience accompanied by panoramic views of the Black Sea.
The program will become even more extensive in August. Events scheduled for August 13–15 will be held as part of the celebrations marking the anniversary of the island's establishment.
The program will include disco nights, pop and rock concerts, and performances by some of Bulgaria's most popular artists. Renowned performers and music groups will meet music lovers on St. Anastasia Island throughout the summer season.
Officials said the cultural and artistic events are intended to support both local tourism and the international promotion of the Burgas region. The summer program is expected to attract both domestic and international visitors.
