Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha thanked Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen for her support regarding developments in Ukraine.

Sybiha said it was extremely important that Valtonen continued to draw attention to what was happening in Ukraine, worked to ensure that these events were not ignored and stood in solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

Sybiha said Valtonen’s voice and support helped ensure that the world did not look away from developments in Ukraine.

Noting that this strengthened calls for international accountability, Sybiha stressed that civilians must be protected from attacks that he said Russia was carrying out deliberately.
