Tsahkna: Elections in Russia are nothing more than a Kremlin-controlled show
Tallinn, September 6 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna argued that the Kremlin controls the nomination process and electoral mechanism ahead of Russia’s State Duma elections.
Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna commented on the upcoming State Duma elections in Russia.
In a social media post, Tsahkna claimed that the Kremlin decides who can run and controls the electoral process. He also argued that the election result is determined before the votes are counted, saying that this is not a genuine election.
Tsahkna described the electoral process in Russia as “a Kremlin-controlled show.”
