European Commission President von der Leyen said she had returned to Nuuk, the capital of Greenland, and stated that they aim to further strengthen the partnership between the European Union and Greenland.

In a social media post, von der Leyen said that during her visit two years ago, Greenland had already felt like home to her. Expressing her pleasure at being back in Nuuk, von der Leyen said, “We are a family.”

Von der Leyen also noted that another purpose of her visit is to further strengthen the “unique partnership” through the Partnership Package jointly prepared by the parties.
