UNRWA: Allow UNRWA to bring in shelter materials
New York, August 21 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that no shelter materials have entered the Gaza Strip for about 6 months.
According to UNRWA’s statement, no shelter materials have been brought into the Gaza Strip for approximately 6 months.
The statement noted that around 90% of the population has been displaced and is living in extremely overcrowded conditions. “Further displacement will make the already disastrous shelter situation even worse. Allow UNRWA to bring in shelter materials,” the statement said.
