UNRWA: Ceasefire in Gaza remains fragile
New York, February 20 (Hibya) - UNRWA stated that the ceasefire in Gaza remains fragile and called for a real and lasting ceasefire.
The United Nations agency UNRWA announced that the declared ceasefire in Gaza remains fragile.
According to the organization’s assessment, 601 Palestinians have been killed and 1,607 injured since the ceasefire began. Ongoing violence, displacement, and restrictions on access to humanitarian aid have made it difficult to meet basic needs.
UNRWA emphasized that a genuine and permanent ceasefire is urgently needed to sustain humanitarian operations in the region.
