Araghchi held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov
Tehran, June 14 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
According to a statement from the ministry, Araghchi spoke by phone with Lavrov to discuss the latest developments following Israel’s military attack on Iran.
Araghchi strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities and residential areas, describing them as a blatant violation of international norms and the principles of the UN Charter.
Lavrov reaffirmed Moscow’s firm position in condemning Israel’s violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, stating that the support of some Western countries for the armed aggression lacks legitimacy.
