The IDF statement said the Home Front Command has instructed residents nationwide to remain close to protected areas.

The announcement stressed the need to reduce movement in the region and avoid large gatherings: “Upon receiving the alert, one must enter a protected area and remain there until an official announcement.”

It stated the Air Force carried out strikes on military targets in Tehran concurrently with interception operations.

After rockets launched from Iran toward Israeli territory were detected, alarms were activated in several parts of the country, the statement noted:

“The public is urged to follow the Home Front Command’s instructions. The Air Force is working to intervene and strike wherever necessary to eliminate the threat. Defense is not a closed area, and therefore directives from the Home Front Command must continue to be followed.”
