German Chancellor Merz issues Rosh Hashanah message
Berlin, September 11 (Hibya) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz congratulated the Jewish community on the new year on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah and delivered a message of solidarity against antisemitism.
In a statement by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, New Year wishes were extended to Jewish women and men on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah. Merz said that a strong Jewish life is an indispensable part of an open society and emphasized that they stand with the Jewish community against antisemitism. Merz concluded his message with the wish, “Shana Tova.”
