Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius emphasized the bonds of alliance and solidarity with the United States on the anniversary of September 11.

Commenting on the day of remembrance, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said: “Twenty-five years after September 11, we pause for a minute to remember everyone who lost their lives on that dark day.”

Emphasizing the importance of freedom, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said: “But at the same time, we also reflect on the values we defend: freedom. We must defend it every day. Today, for the sake of our freedom, we stand shoulder to shoulder with our American allies.”
