Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and said they stood in solidarity with the people of the Netherlands and the families affected by the accident.

Expressing his sadness over the accident, Sybiha said: “I am deeply saddened by the tragic bus accident in Switzerland in which people, including Dutch citizens, lost their lives and dozens were injured.”

Offering his condolences and wishes for recovery, Sybiha said: “I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives. I wish everyone who was injured a swift and full recovery.”

Sybiha concluded his statement by saying: “Ukraine stands with the Netherlands and our Dutch friends in this difficult moment.”
