Ghebreyesus sends condolence message to Afghanistan
Geneva, November 3 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has issued a message of condolence for those who lost their lives in the earthquake in Afghanistan.
Ghebreyesus said that, on behalf of the WHO, he extends his deepest condolences to everyone who lost loved ones in the deadly earthquake that struck Afghanistan last night.
He added that WHO teams in Afghanistan are on the ground supporting efforts to provide emergency health services to the injured.
